Fooducated™ started out as a blog inspired by my desire to eat everything. Throughout most of my first year at Washington University in St. Louis, I ate a new dish every day in an attempt to eat every dish on Wash U’s menu. I didn’t even get close to finishing.
Then I went home (NYC) for the summer and it turned into a blog about cooking and eating out on a student’s budget and attention span.
But now I’m back at WashU for another year of learning and eating and, hopefully, learning while eating. So stay tuned for reviews of campus dishes, tips for cooking in a dorm, and whatever other ramblings I spurt out.
It won’t always taste good. It won’t always work. But I will always write about it.
I’m getting Fooducated.™
Hi! You should have seen my face when I found out there was another food blogger on campus
Do you want to meet up sometime? I would love to talk to a fellow foodie. Email me at lisavongchingtrong@wustl.edu! Oh God, now I feel like I’m on a blind date.
Just sent you an email!

I love what you’re doing! What a great idea — and a great lineup of cafeterias.
thank you! I’m looking forward to tips and tricks to try from your magazine.
Fooducated, check out pizza at W. Broadway & Canal for student budget destination. I just posted about it. -Adam
Thank you for the tip! I absolutely will!!
Hi! I love your ideas and think you would be great to write a column in Wash U’s independent newspaper, Student Life. If you are interested, please contact me!
Hi There! Love your blog, pictures are fantastic. I have some ideas and wanted to throw your way, are you free to skype?
You should do a post comparing the different kinds of bagel bites available in the Village.
Hello Fooducated,
Read on one of your recent posts that you are in NYC for the summer. Would you like to go to go for a Korean Food tasting event this week that I have been invited for? Please e-mail me if you are interested.
Thanks,
